Rules and Regulations

• Silence should be maintained in the library premises.

• A maximum of 2 books (both should not be from the same section) can be issued for a period of 15 days.

• Each book can be re-issued maximum of two times and each re-issue duration will be of 1 week.

• An overdue charge of Rs. 1 per day per book will be charged on the books returned after due date.

• In case of book lost, members have to pay the processing fees and a replacement charge of Rs 50 per book, present cost of the book, binding charges (if applicable) and other applicable fines.

• Books should be checked for missing pages or any damage before issuing. The members will be held responsible for any damage / missing pages found and the penalty would be at the discretion of the librarian / convener of the club.

• Library resources like Magazines, comic books and newspapers are not entitled to be issued to anyone. These are to be referred within the library premises only.

• Issued books / personal books and other personal belongings are not allowed to be brought in the library and should be kept in the rack provided at the entrance of the library.

• Books can't be taken out of the library premises unless they are issued.

• Mobile phones is to be switched-off or in silent mode within the library premises.
